Coconut Water Foundation educators always visit the families of our beneficiaries at the end of the month. We follow up with our students’ situation at home, and see how we can improve it.
Some families have financial problems and live in remote villages. They live in unsafe houses without clean water, toilet, electricity, and proper nutrition. Our coordinator Thearout visited some of these families and tried to find donors to help their situation, which she reported to our partner NGOs. Mr Walter, manager of DON BOSCO (an agricultural NGO), made a personal donation to buy material for two toilets, as well as $40, some rice, and a big bottle of water for each family. The families were really surprised and happy to receive our support.
