Coconut Water is an NGO which has been working since 1994 to boost international cooperation, to raise awareness and to educate for development.
WE ARE REGISTERED IN SPAIN AS A NATIONAL FOUNDATION WITH NUMBER 18/079 AND IN THE SPANISH AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION (AECID) WITH NUMBER 2101.
The Coconut Water Foundation has been working for the development of women and children in the Battambang region (Northwest of Cambodia) since 1994. Today’s community development and educational programme aimts to provide families with better economic opportunities and to promote awareness about the importance of gender equality, basic health care, human rights and physical education.
Our mission is:
To improve the quality of life of disadvantaged people from the southern countries, especially women and children, using education as a driver of sustainable development.
What defines us
Coconut Water will expand its work in Africa, Asia and South America with an innovative, sustainable, inclusive programme of development, in close relationship with its beneficiaries. Quality is an ethical commitment for all members of the Foundation.
